The Los Angeles-class attack submarine USS Norfolk (SSN 714) returned from a regularly scheduled six-month deployment Sept. 6 at Naval Station Norfolk.

USS Taylor (FFG 50) pulled into Murmansk, Russia, Sept. 6 to celebrate the close World War II alliance between Russia and the United States, and to honor veterans in both countries on the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II.
